Booster Club

The Arcata Elementary School Booster Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the staff lounge. Child care is available - contact the school office for more information at (707) 822-4858.

 

The Sunny Brae Middle School Booster Club meets on the first Monday of the month at 5:15 pm. Contact the school office for more information at (707) 822-5988.

 

BOOSTER CLUB

The school-site Booster Clubs offer an invaluable link between students, school, staff, teachers and families. Without parents/guardians support, it would not be possible for the Clubs to continue sponsoring events and providing much-needed contributions to our schools.

 

Why Join the Booster Club?

Booster Club offers parents/guardians the opportunity to make positive changes at school while strengthening the family-school connection. Joining Booster Club shows an interest in your child's education and school activities, demonstrates greater support for your child's teachers and school, and improves the relationship between families and school personnel. And Booster Club is fun!

 

How Involved Do Parents/Guardians Need To Be?

You can be as involved as you want to be. We understand that people have very busy schedules and that time is precious; therefore, we appreciate any time you can spare. Volunteers are also needed to chair committees and work events - even an hour or two is a big help!

 

What Do Booster Clubs Actually Do?

With parent/guardian help, our Booster Clubs have supported events like Family Movie Night & Fall Carnival at AES and Silent Auction/Open House at SBMS, fundraisers that then cover expenses such as second grade swim lessons and 8th grade graduation activities. Our Booster Clubs also help us celebrate Teacher & Staff Appreciation Days, chaperone at dances, secure goodies for Halloween Carnival, and much more!
