The AES PTO meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the staff lounge.  Child care is available for the meeting from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.

Arcata Elementary PTO

The Arcata Elementary PTO offers an invaluable link between students, school, staff, teachers and families, but without you and your support it would not be possible for the PTO to continue to sponsor events and provide much needed contributions to our school.

Why Join the Arcata Elementary PTO?

The PTO offers parents the opportunity to make positive changes in the school. PTO distributes information on a regular basis so you can be informed of and respond to school issues and activities in a timely manner. You can find information about PTO in our Paw Prints, on the PTO bulletin board in our hallway, and on their Facebook page, Friends of Arcata Elementary School. Joining the PTO shows an interest in your child's education and school activities, shows greater support for his/her teachers and school and improves the relationship between parents and school personnel. And last, but not least, PTO is fun!

How Involved Do Parents Need To Be?

You can be as involved as you want to be. We understand that people have very busy schedules and that time is precious. Therefore we appreciate any time you can spare. Volunteers are always needed to chair committees and work events.

What Does the Arcata Elementary PTO Actually Do?

With your help and membership, the PTO has been able to provide the following events each year: Stone Soup at Back to School Night, Fall Carnival, Celebrations, Bowl of Beans, R.A.D.D., Teacher & Staff Appreciation Days, and much, much more.

Remember that the PTO helps our kids and improves our school. With your continued support, the PTO can provide Arcata Elementary students with wonderful programs this year and every year. We can’t do it without you.
